They just don’t make them like they used to...

Some of the finest examples of mid-20th century furniture included tambour doors. Because it is labor-intensive and requires the maker to have a high level of craftsmanship, its appearance is increasingly rare in contemporary furniture. 

This table’s splayed ebonized legs, overall form and the tambour doors allude to both high-end American and Danish design of the 1950’s and 1960’s, notably Vladimir Kagan, Edward Wormley, and Hans Wegner.

Today, it has incredible sculptural presence while being versatile and practical. The concealed drawer has a significant amount of storage. This table will work well as entry table, in a chic home-office, or even as a bar.
