BARBARA KRUGER "CULTURE VULTURE" PRINT, 2012
Barbara Kruger is one of the world's most provocative, distinctive and original artists.
In 2005, she was awarded the "Leone d'Oro" for lifetime achievement by the Venice Biennale.
In 2010, Kruger completed one of her largest public commissions when she covered the Frank Gehry-designed facade of the Art Gallery of Ontario with her signature slogans.
Her work can be found in every major museum's collection around the world.
Her text-based works are iconic and unforgettable. "Culture Vulture" is unmistakably Kruger.
This work, in a small edition, was commissioned and created in 2012 to commemorate 50 years of the Vera List Art Project at the Lincoln Center in New York City.
