"BLUE YVES" LARGE ART DECO MIRROR
Yves Klein (1928-1962) had an amazing influence on both performance art and Minimalism in post-war European art.
Perhaps he is best known for his obsessive dedication to a shade of lapis lazuli-like blue that he applied to everything from stamps, to furniture to monochromatic paintings. One of these monochromatic canvases sold for an astounding $36 million at Christies in 2012.
His strong association with this particular shade of blue has led many to simply refer to it as "Yves Klein Blue".
This amazing Art Deco sixteen-sided mirror appears to be the exact shade of blue that Klein adopted.
If you are looking for a practical punch of color, look no further.
With its great shape, this mirror will be an ideal addition to your bedroom or hallway.
