CHROMOLY "LITTLE ITALY" LARGE PENDANT LIGHT, 2012

$1,000

Caviar20 is excited to introduce Chromoly, a Toronto-based multi-disciplinary design studio led by Adam Pickard and Jonathan Sabine.

In a short period of time Chromoly have designed and manufactured a number of clever, slightly menacing and unforgettable products.

Their "Bourgeois Brass Knuckles" was a playful, subversive but totally functional hybrid between a corkscrew opener and the eponymous street weapon. The edition quickly sold out and is in the permanent collection of SFMoMA.

For the "Little Italy" collection, Chromoly embraced materials that typically appear in working class neighborhoods across Toronto.

The result of recontextualizing these ubiquitous materials is a growing collection of furniture that is original, contemporary and chic.
