Caviar20 is pleased to introduce DFC.

Imagine Jonathan Adler ceramics...on tequila, on cocaine and on steroids. This is DFC.

DFC harnesses traditional Mexican craft techniques with the goal of creating hyper-contemporary objects for a chic and savvy international consumer.

Founded in 2005, the firm was the brainchild of Tony Moxham and Mauricio Paniagua (a former art director at Interview Magazine)
After the duo relocated to Mexico City they sought-out and then challenged the exceptional trades and crafts people across the capital and country to produce their whimsical and sexy creations.

Their Museum Series: Spike Bowl was inspired by Mayan vessels and created by hand-casting and hand-glazing.
This is very far from Pottery Barn or any Pier-One Importants ethic styling.

DFC often takes Mexican icons and incorporates them into hyper-contemporary designs that simultaneously embrace patrimony, subvert it or reinvision it in their super-glam aesthetic.

DFC’s creations are carried by selected international retailers, including The Future Perfect (New York City and Brooklyn) and Paul Smith (London and Paris)
