Music is one of Fornasetti's favorite motifs.

He repeatedly depicts different instruments, composers and makes many visual references to Operas.

This is a lovely example of one of his lesser-known yet simultaneously distinctively Fornasetti patterns.

This pattern is not well-known because of its elaborate and very detailed hand-coloring.

There are 17 (!) instruments each with different colored details.

This is a paradigm of Fornasetti's work and would be perfect in a music room, kitchen or wherever you choose to display it. Bravo!
