Frank Gehry (b. 1929) is the original "Starchitect" and responsible for some of the most important and visually dynamic structures in the world including: the Walt Disney Concert Hall (Los Angeles), the  Art Gallery of Ontario (Toronto), the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao (Spain) and the recently opened Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris)

In addition to Gehry's architecture, he also completed a significant body of product design for a host of companies including Emco, Knoll, Alessi and most notably Tiffany & Co.

The latter has been an ongoing and highly successful partnership that began in 2003.

This set of "Toque" glasses, in mint condition is from the debut of the Gehry collection with Tiffany & Co.

The hand-blown glass is of a form that is evocative of some of the architect's preferred shapes found in his architecture.

While these glasses are a wonderful object that capture the spirit and aesthetic of Gehry's work, they were only produced in a limited edition during 2006 and then discontinued.

They have become one of the most sought-after examples of Gehry's product design over the past decade.
