GUCCI “PORCELAIN PARTY BOX”
Caviar20 has been increasingly seeking out vintage Gucci porcelain - made in during the brands (first) heyday of the 1970's.
The label has been renowned for decades for its leather goods, yet during the 1970’s they also created occasional small accessories for the home including ashtrays, incense burners, letter sets and porcelain serving pieces.
Check out an amazing full-page ad that appeared in Architectural Digest in June 1981.
We'll admit that we were kind of baffled what the intended purpose of this box was.
So we've simply referred to it as a "party box"
(We eventually did discover what it was created for...and we're happy to tell if you ask)
A perfect gift for that special someone that loves fashion...but is impossible to shop for.
