HIGH-GLOSS BLACK CERAMIC "WAVY" PENDANT LIGHT
This fantastic "Wavy" pendant alludes to some of the corny decorative lighting of the 1970's.
Yet it has a spirit that recalls Jaime Hayon or Martin Margiella (and their interest in appropriating and then exaggerating or refining design archetypes)
The overall form is vaguely historical, but the finish with its high gloss black ceramic exterior and platinum white interior is unmistakably contemporary.
We acquired this fantastic light in Montreal and were totally turned on by its je-ne-sais-quoi minimalist/kitsch sexiness.
We recommend a half-mirror incandescent bulb.
Perfect for an entry way or powder room.
Note: Some photos erroneously suggest that the surface is a glossy chocolate brown. It is in fact jet black.
Not pictured, but included, is a matching black ceramic canopy.
