$2,250

Nancy Fox’s practice is influenced by graphic design and digital technologies. Her work references a wide variety of modes of visual communication – drawing, photography, architecture and design.

These references are evident in Fox’s series “Ten Pieces of Imaginary Furniture #1-10”. The subject, forms and spirit allude to the work of Verner Panton (one of Caviar20’s perennial favorites). Each piece in the series is characterized by bold colors, crisp lines and a retro-futuristic feel. Nancy’s strong compositions and creativity are subtle and stylish.

Nancy received her Masters in Printmaking from the University of Alberta and is a former resident artist at the Banff Centre of Arts. Currently based in Toronto, she has taught at the Ontario College of Art and Design and the University of Toronto. Her work has been exhibited across Canada and at the Lahti Art Museum, Finland.

This work is available for purchase unframed.
