SOREL ETROG "KEY HEAD IV" BRONZE, 1967
Sorel Etrog (1933 - 2014) is arguably Canada's most famous sculptor.
His work can be found in numerous museum and private collections including the Tate, the AGO and LACMA.
His public sculptures can be found on iconic corners in Toronto, Montreal, Israel and beyond.
Etrog was elected a member of the Order of Canada in 1994 and two years later became a Chevalier of Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in France.
The "Key Head" is one of Etrog's most famous motifs - appearing in sculpture, drawings and prints beginning around 1964.
