At the height of the Memphis movement, Ettore Sottsass created an architecture and design consultancy entitled Sottsass Associati.
The firm would focus on major architectural projects and design for other manufacturers/labels.
In addition to furniture, exhibitions, consumer electronics and lighting the firm also took on branding and interior projects for companies such as Esprit, Knoll and Alessi
While Sottsass was at the helm he guided the top talent of the day including Johanna Grawunder, Marco Zanini, Matteo Thun and many more.
Sottsass Associati are presently based in London and Milan and continue to sustain the work, philosophy and culture of the studio.
This playful and elegant vase, produced by the Italian glass company HWC Egizia, is a great example of Sottsass Associati's output.
