TAHIR MAHMOOD "JASMINE MOTIYA" MORTAR & PESTLE, 2014

$175

In 2009 Tahir Mahmood debuted his collection of sculptural yet totally functional Mortar & Pestles.

Over the past five years they have been a critical and commercial success.

Tahir's designs have been featured in publications around the world including The New York Times, Wallpaper*, ID magazine and the Globe & Mail to mention a few.

In 2014 Tahir added four new models to his family of Mortar & Pestles including three "Flowers" and "Gutta" -where he mixes wood and metal for the first time.

"Jasmine Motiya" is one of the three "Flowers" - its body is comparable to its Medium or Large M&P siblings and is realized in a stunning palette of mustard, squid ink black and tangerine

Wheter you intend to use "Jasmine Motiya" for cooking or decoration - it is sure to be the most striking and sculptural pieces in your kitchen.
