TAHIR MAHMOOD "SUNEHRA" TABLE LAMP, 2012
Tahir Mahmood debuted his "Sunehra" table lamp, made of copper and brass, at IDS12 in January.
Sarah Richardson, design authority and television personality, instantly chose Tahir's lamp as one of her favorite designs from the fair.
Writing in the Globe and Mail, Richardson lauded the lamp and eloquently described it:
"Rendered in brass and copper, this sleek yet subtly industrial-looking lamp with delicate details would add a warm glow as a sculptural desk or bedside lamp. Whether your style is urban modernist or rural traditionalist, this fixture crosses design camps and would be at home in almost any room." We couldn't have said it better!
Lamp head can pivot so light can be directed upwards or facing forward or backwards.
