TOMAS ROJCIK "PENDANT 45" CHANDELIER

$6,000

Tomas Rojcik is a promising young Toronto-based designer.

His first production piece "Pendant 45" was an instant commercial and critical success.

Only a few weeks after its public debut, Design Lines dedicated an entire page to this ultra-chic and super striking light.

“Pendant 45” is a 21st century reinterpretation of the most primitive man-made light source—the campfire.

Created with ash wood, aluminium, steel, LEDs and wire, a cluster of (up to) 9 pendant lights are suspended in 45-degree angles.

Functional yet remarkably sculptural, “Pendant 45” is reflective of Rojick’s penchant for combining both digital and traditional design methods resulting in a highly original creation.

Rojcik is a recent graduate of Sheridan's Furniture design program and currently works as a designer at Castor.

His designs have been exhibited in Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg and Prague.

"Pendant 45" was the centerpiece of the RBC Wealth Management VIP lounge at Art Toronto 2012.

Three-pendant version: $1,850   /    Five-pendant version: $3,500    / Nine-pendant version (pictured): $6,000
