VASA MIHICH "JADE PYRAMID" SCULPTURE, 2005
Two vivid shades of green, one emerald, one jade, interact with primary blue and royal purple on this asymmetrical triangle sculpture. Vasa perfectly balances darker saturated colors with clear spaces of acrylic. This is one of the most beautiful combination of colors we've ever handled by this master of color and light.
If you are familiar with Caviar20 you probably know that Vasa was a Senior Professor of Design at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he taught color theory for many years.
For nearly nearly 50 years he has been working in acrylics; whether on canvas or through sculpture.
This is the first time that we have handled this particular form which dates from 2005.
However we are offering them individually for $750 (or $1250 for the pair)
