CURTIS JERE STYLE "BIG TRUFFLE" PENDANT LIGHT
We've observed and enjoyed the ascent and appreciation of the late 60's/early 70's aesthetic typically referred to "Brutalist".
Creations by Paul Evans, Silas Seandel, Curtis Jere and others have gone from despised and dated to highly sought-after in less than a decade.
1stdibs recently devoted four generous pages of curated inventory to "Brutalist" pieces.
Somewhat different than the architectural movement of the same name, "Brutalist" furniture, lighting and decoration are typically realized in welded metals with dark and dirty patinas.
This "Big Truffle" pendant is a prime example - it posses a fantastic combination between bad-ass tough and gilded glam.
An ideal size for above a dining table or master-bed distributing a generous amount of light.
