Jenny Holzer (b. 1950) has an important exhibition history in Italy: In 1990 Holzer was the first woman to represent the United States at the Venice Biennale. That year she won the Leone D'Oro - the event's top honor.

In the late 1990's Holzer began her legendary public "projections". This photograph is from a  projection on the Fondazione Cini that took place over 5 days in June 1999 in Venice.

In the succeeding years these poems/texts of have been projected/exhibited in public spaces in over 40 countries.

This work is one of nine images of this seminal and iconic projection that comprises the "Xenon" portfolio.

This is a fantastic and poetic example of one of her memorable projections, yet domestically proportioned.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire an affordable work by one of the most distinctive artists of the 20th century.
