VASARELY "PORCELAIN SQUARE RELIEF" FOR ROSENTHAL
Rosenthal, the famous porcelain company, has a long history of collaborating with international artists.
Victor Vasarely (1908-1997), arguably the most accomplished and committed practitioner of "Op Art" began producing designs for Rosenthal in 1964.
He applied his fantastic geometric designs to everything from dinner services to sculptural works.
This "Porcelain Square Relief" is an exceptional example of the former as it was produced in a very limited edition of 100.
